Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 7.9.2026Effective from: 1.9.2026

This Policy forms part of the Terms of Use and sets out what you may and may not do on QuizyPeasy. It also describes how we deal with content that breaks these rules, what tools we use to find it, and how you can challenge a decision we take.

Terms written with a capital letter have the meaning given to them in the Terms of Use.

1. The basic rule

QuizyPeasy exists so that you can turn your own study materials into practice tests. Almost everything follows from that. Upload material you are entitled to use, keep it to study material, and do not use the Service to reach or harm other people.

2. Content you must not upload, generate or share

Unlawful content. Anything that is illegal under EU law or the law of any Member State in which it is available. This includes child sexual abuse material, terrorist content, incitement to violence or hatred against a person or group, threats, and material that infringes someone's intellectual property or trade secrets.

Material you have no right to copy. Textbooks, course packs, past examination papers, subscription databases and similar works are usually protected by copyright. Uploading a copy for your own study may be permitted where you have lawful access; sharing generated material derived from it with other people, and especially through a public link, generally is not. The assessment is yours to make, and you carry the consequences of getting it wrong.

Other people's personal data. Do not upload documents containing personal data of third parties unless you have a proper basis for doing so. Where the material is a case file, a medical record, an HR document, a client file or anything comparable, remove or replace identifying details first. This applies with particular force to data revealing health, beliefs, ethnicity, sexual life or criminal matters, and to anything covered by professional secrecy.

Content harmful to minors. Sexual content, content promoting self-harm, eating disorders or substance abuse, and content designed to frighten or exploit. QuizyPeasy is used by people under 18.

Content that is not study material. The Service is not file storage, a backup service, a distribution channel or a messaging platform. Do not use it as one.

3. Conduct that is not allowed

  • Circumventing plan limits, generation quotas, storage quotas, paywalls or other technical restrictions, including by opening additional accounts.

  • Sharing, selling or lending account credentials, or giving access to people who do not have their own account.

  • Scraping, bulk-downloading or systematically extracting content from the Service, whether manually or by automated means.

  • Using content obtained through the Service to train or fine-tune machine learning or artificial intelligence models.

  • Reselling access to the Service, or offering generated material commercially, without our written agreement.

  • Probing, scanning or testing the security of the Service, attempting to access data belonging to other users, or interfering with availability or integrity.

  • Impersonating another person, or using the sharing features to send unsolicited messages, advertising or invitations at scale.

  • Attempting to make the AI features produce content that this Policy prohibits, including by disguising the request.

4. Sharing carries its own responsibility

When you share a test directly, through a public link, or by editing it together with others, you are making content available to people other than yourself. Everything in this Policy applies to what you share, and you are responsible for having the rights to share it. A public link can be forwarded by anyone who receives it; treat it as published.

If you receive a share from someone else, the same rules apply to what you then do with it.

5. How we find content that breaks these rules

We do not monitor everything stored on QuizyPeasy, and we are under no general obligation to do so. We become aware of problems in three ways:

  • Reports from users, through the "report a question" function and through notices sent to support@quizypeasy.com.

  • Automated checks, which we apply at upload and at generation. They look for known categories of illegal material and for patterns typical of abuse, such as attempts to bypass quotas or to generate prohibited content. Automated checks are imperfect: they flag content for review rather than deciding on their own, except where the category is one we are obliged to act on immediately.

  • Signals from our providers, including the AI providers, who may refuse or flag a request.

6. What we do about it

Depending on how serious the breach is, whether it is repeated, and whether it is deliberate, we may:

  • ask you to remove or correct the content;

  • restrict the visibility of a test, disable a public share link, or remove content;

  • limit specific features on your account, such as public sharing;

  • suspend your account temporarily;

  • terminate your account and the contract;

  • where the law requires it, notify the competent authorities.

We choose the least intrusive measure that addresses the problem, and, except where that would be impossible, unlawful or would defeat the purpose of the measure, we warn you first and give you a reasonable opportunity to put things right.

7. What we tell you, and how you can challenge it

Whenever we restrict content, disable a link, limit a feature, suspend or terminate an account, we will tell you:

  • what we did and how long it applies;

  • the facts and circumstances we relied on;

  • whether automated means were used to detect the content and to take the decision;

  • which rule in this Policy or which legal provision we relied on;

  • how you can contest the decision.

To contest a decision, write to support@quizypeasy.com within a reasonable time, explaining why you think we are wrong. A person reviews it — the review is not automated. If we conclude that we made a mistake, we reverse the decision promptly and restore the content or the account. If we conclude that the decision was right, we tell you why.

None of this affects your right to bring the matter before a court, or to use any out-of-court dispute settlement body available to you.

8. Reporting illegal content

Anyone can report content on QuizyPeasy that they consider illegal, by writing to support@quizypeasy.com. Please tell us where the content is, why you consider it illegal, and how we can reach you, and confirm that your notice is made in good faith. We confirm receipt without undue delay and tell you the outcome of our assessment.

Where a report concerns your own intellectual property, tell us which work is affected and on what basis you hold the rights.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy as the Service develops and as problems appear that we have not anticipated. Where a change materially affects what you are allowed to do, we will notify you in the same way as for changes to the Terms of Use.
